After a lengthy visit to Bengaluru on Saturday, the spectators were treated to a nine-over match between India and the West Indies at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The Indian hitters, particularly Ishan Kishan, persevered despite the match being cut short due to rain.
Go bang, bang, and bang was Team India’s mantra when batting first. During his spectacular 10-ball 30, which included three boundaries, two bigguies, and a maximum that flew over the stadium roof, Kishan, the number three batter, complied.
Romario Shepherd is punished by Ishan Kishan with a maximum on the roof. Ishan Kishan, who entered the game to bat in the first over, lost it on Romario Shepherd in the second over.
The bowling all-rounder, who is an IPL player for Bengaluru, was first hit for a six by the southpaw, who then rotated the strike for a double.
The third delivery went for a boundary, but he smoked it for a maximum over deep backward square leg for a 92-meter hit, making it the night’s best shot. The ball had to be replaced by the fourth umpire after it fell over the stadium roof.

Sadly, Shamar Joseph’s hard-length delivery in 2.3 overs ended Kishan’s scorching knock. In the fifth Twenty20 International between IND and WI, Rain had the last laugh at Chinnaswamy. Shreyas Iyer, the captain, took over in the rain-shortened match after Ishan Kishan went down. Even though the captain only scored 22 runs, it put the Indian team in a strong position.
Before the game was ultimately called off due to rain, Naman Dhir increased the intensity with a brilliant six-ball 24* as India continued to lose wickets in quick succession.
