MI New York enjoyed a much-needed breakthrough with their first record of the 2026 Major League Cricket season, comfortably overcoming Texas Super Kings by eight wickets in Dallas. Trent Boult and Corbin Bosch produced a disciplined piece of bowling before Nicholas Pooran showed composure to see MI New York over the line with an unbeaten half-century.
MI New York made early inroads with the ball after winning the toss and opting to field. Trent Boult’s (2/14) wicket of Smit Patel in the very first over marked the veteran left-arm pacer’s 50th T20 First Over Wicket. Boult struck again soon after to dismiss Rilee Rossouw, leaving Texas Super Kings tottering at 20 for 2.
